They say it is wrong to judge a book by its cover. They say we are to base our judgements upon keen observations, of the actions of the subject in question. They also say, “Two wrongs don’t make a right”, that a hidden hero lurks within us all. That… “The truth shall set you free”…

So what would be said about Daggmar, “Widow-Maker”?

Bastard child of a nomadic Orc Chieftain, her mother; a captured half-elf assassin, some would say this child’s fate was sealed upon birth. She was born into servitude, trained as a dancer; she was bred for officials with a particular taste.

At 9 years of age, the call of the wild had become too great… In a single night she had made 4 widows, 4 vacant senate seats, and a name for herself. Her travels through the wilderness were turbulent at best. Being tall, beautiful, and green, causes problems. Daggmar was her own biggest problem.

Reaching as far as the Dragon Kingdoms, it is here where she met Professor Lorrimor. In no means, was he swayed by her raw beauty, or guilty of trying to groom a vulnerable young female adult. No, he was merely extending his ability for compassion, and saw in this girl, potential. With his influence, the Professor managed to the magistrates to release the captured half-Orc murderer, and retain her services, as a personal body guard.

They parted ways on her 16th birth year, and she went back to the wilderness, in search of peace and to become one with the land.

Daggmar’s 17th birth year was marked with disaster… The Professor’s hawk had somehow found her, knowing that his pet never leaves his side, she decided he must be summoning her for her services once again. Meaning, the Professor was in trouble and needed the ‘Widow-Maker’.
